Circularity & Regeneration

Staying at Spirit Mountain means living a little closer to the rhythms of nature. Everything here is designed to compost, reuse or give back — one of the few places in Krabi actively practising permaculture and regenerative living, with seeds from Pun Pun Organic Farm in Chiang Mai and occasional workshops on regenerative living.

About Spirit Mountain

Known locally as เขาโต๊ะหลวง, Khao To Luang

Located in Krabi at Chong Pli, on the outskirts of Ao Nang beach. Nestled against a jungle-draped limestone karst, Spirit Mountain is a nature haven where lush gardens, fruit trees, and winding trails encircle stunning caves adorned with stalactites. Our L-shaped oasis, framed by striking cliffs, offers a serene escape and mindful connection with nature.

A solitary limestone karst with sectors facing every direction — single-pitch sport routes, and some up to three pitches. Climbers have been developing it since 2009.

Titanium bolts

Most routes are bolted with titanium glue-in bolts. Some soft-rock routes use slings, which are safer there. Anchors and slings are checked every year.

Ready for the season

The path has been cleared for easier access to the sectors from October. Thanks to the Krabi Bolting Fund, which is replacing old bolts with titanium across mainland Krabi.

Operations Manager

Leading day-to-day activities, improving organisational efficiency, and managing resources to ensure smooth production and service delivery. A hands-on, floor-based leadership position focused on radical simplicity, resource stewardship, and team leadership.

Qualifications

  • Thai national (native communication with local staff and community)
  • Fluent in English — able to confidently host international guests and coordinate across departments
  • 3–5 years’ experience in operations or supervisory roles within hospitality
  • Strong practical understanding of operational systems: preventive maintenance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Hands-on leadership: proactive, grounded, and prefers working alongside the team
  • Alignment with regenerative living, nature immersion, zero-waste principles and the outdoor culture of the organisation

Host & Guest Experience Associate

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and complete bungalow check-ins and check-outs
  • Support the organising of community gatherings
  • Assist guests on site and support coordination of ongoing activities
  • Coordinate closely with the operations team

Qualifications

  • Good conversational English — confident with international visitors and colleagues
  • 0–2 years’ experience in hospitality, guest service, eco-tourism or outdoor camps (fresh graduates with the right mindset are encouraged to apply)
  • Enthusiastic, polite, grounded, and comfortable speaking to people
  • Passion for nature, outdoor movement (climbing, hiking) or sustainable living
  • Comfortable working in an active, open-air tropical environment
